陈熙霖教授，博士、研究员、博士生导师。1988年、1991年和1994年分别于哈尔滨工业大学计算机系获得学士、硕士和博士学位。毕业后留校任教，先后任讲师(1994)、副教授(1996)、教授(1999)。2001年5月至2004年5月在美国卡内基梅隆大学计算机学院访问。回国后入选中国科学院百人计划，任中科院计算所研究员。近年来主要研究领域为计算机视觉、模式识别、多媒体技术以及多模式人机接口。先后主持过自然科学基金重点项目、863计划等项目的研究工作。先后获得国家科技进步二等奖三项，省部级科技进步奖7项，获得国家发明专利四项，合作出版专著1本，在包括IEEE Transactions在内的国内外刊物和会议上发表论文100多篇。担任过十多个国际学术会议的程序委员会委员。
