中国人民大学特聘教授，博士生导师，入选国家级青年人才项目。目前的研究方向包括： 数据可视化、计算机图形学、人机交互、大数据管理与分析等，相关研究成果在IEEE VIS、 ACM SIGCHI、ACM SIGMOD、ACM SIGGRAPH (Asia)、ACM TOG、IEEE TVCG、IEEE VR等CCF-A类期刊和会议上发表论文70余篇。招收本科生/(免试)研究生/访问学生科研实习，本人有丰富学生科研指导经验，能根据学生的兴趣不同设计不同的课题进行因材施教。
