题目:Analysis and Search to Improve Online Government Services
报告人:Paul THOMAS

摘要:
Government departments deal with many programmes
and have many
partners, collaborators, and clients as well as serving
many
citizens. This can make their websites large and complex,
and
useful information can be hard to find.
This talk describes work
we have done with Centrelink, a large
government agency in Australia, to
improve the online experience.
Novel analysis of user sessions can spot
"struggling" sessions in
real time, and distributed search software
can provide information
even without a user query. These are combined in
tools which
support website visitors and web authors alike.
